UID.は、ものづくりのメッカ・大阪府八尾市で長年に渡り技術・品質を追い求め、鉄工と向き合ってきた会社がスチールの可能性を改めて見つめ直し、新しい価値観の創出を促すようなプロダクトを発表するブランドです。
鉄という、一見すると冷たく、硬く、無機質なイメージのある素材を使いながら、機能や佇まいが柔軟に変化するプロダクトを制作しています。
使う人自身の遊び心を触発しながら、一人ひとりの想いや空間に永く寄り添えるものづくりを目指しています。

UID. is a brand from a metalsmith company in Yao City, Osaka, Japan, a mecca of manufacturing, which has sincerely dedicated to metal and pursued quality and technique for years. We revisit the possibility of steel and produce products that enhance the creation of new values.
While the material we use, iron, can deliver a cold, hard and inorganic image, we make products whose functions and appearances flexibly change.
What we aim for is to create products that inspire the playful mind and have a long life together with space and thought of those who use them.
